Project Description
The convention center is a six-storey structure with a basement measuring about 250m long and 110m wide. The iconic design of the building is a huge organic structure resembling two intertwined trees in the main facade made out of steel structure. It represents Sidra Tree, a beloved and multifaceted icon in Qatari culture and the emblem of the Qatar Foundation. Alldoors took care about the special door designs such as leather cladded, oriental style and stainless steel doors. All wooden doors were produced at Alldoors factory in Turkey and special wood veneer was imported from Africa to fulfill the special design needs of the architect. This International Convention Center really shows the high quality of building standards being used in Qatar.
