Project Description
In Muscat Airport project, Alldoors is supplying doors for most of the door packages such as steel doors, industrial doors and ironmongery which will be finished in 2016. Alldoors started this project in 2012 with Bechtel/Enka JV with a special door team set up to handle this large project with a total of 4000 special doors. The first phase is consisted of design and door scheduling of the doors. Alldoors has designed many special doors such as stone cladded, glass cladded and stainless steel glazed doors in cooperation with Hill International, Muscat Airport project's main consultant. The second phase is to combine the doors and ironmongery schedules together. The ironmongery and door specifications are based on AINSI standards as NFPA 101/80 which are very strict in terms of fire rating and life safety codes. The third phase will be the order processing of the doors and ironmongery with the factories and the logistical procedures. The fourth phase will be the supervision and installations of the various door and ironmongery types by Alldoors specialists. This project is one of the major projects Alldoors has done so far but with experienced and a motivated Alldoors team the project will be finalized in a proper way.
